Engagement Pictures Why are they important? When was the last time you had professional candid moments taken of you and your fiancé In my experience I’ve found that most couples do not have fun day pictures. This e-session is almost like a date with a paparazzi. Engagement photography is an opportunity to capture some relaxed portraits of you and your fiancé before the hectic wedding day. The more comfortable you are in front of the camera and photographer, the better!
What location should we choose? My first suggestion is a location that is sentimental. Place of your first date, first kiss, some place that you visit frequently. Other suggestions would be a park, the beach, a museum, the mall, an urban location or just a walk around town.
What should we wear ? Go casual, consider using two different outfits and don’t forget to dress the groom. Create a theme that fits your personality. But most of all dress to have fun. Clothing that you would not mine getting a little dirty or wet, if rolling in the grass or jumping into a fountain strikes your fancy.
When is a good time to do the session? I can shoot anytime, day or night. But the very best time I’d say is about about an hour after the sun has risen or about an hour before the sun sets. This is when the light is golden and is considered the best time to shoot. Most often I spend 1 to 3 hours with a couple. In a few hours I will take a hundred or more photos, plenty to choose from.
Additional information I am mostly available for engagement sessions on weekdays with few exceptions. Travel is included as long we are shooting in the Jacksonville area, which include the beaches.
