What's your photography style?
I would say that my style is traditional and photojournalistic.
Do you provide a contract and what does it include?
Yes, the contract will include all the items in a chosen package, or in the case of a custom package, the items we agreed upon. I have two types of contracts, an In Person Contract, and an Online Contract. The Online contract, covers the agreement, includes an invoice, and payment options.
How many photos can we expect to receive and how long will it take to get them?
For an average wedding you can expect around 800 to 900 images. The photos will be online within 2 days. Prints delivered within 7 days, for albums and photo books 2 weeks to deliver after approval of the design by you.
Do you offer engagement photos as well?
How many photographers will be present at the wedding?
My top 3 packages include 2 photographers, for economical packages myself only.
How do you handle unforeseen circumstances, such as weather or equipment failure?
If the weather is bad outside the shoot takes place inside the venue.
For a wedding shoot I have my main camera, and two back up cameras, one of the back ups is with me at all times, the same for flash units.
Do you offer retouching or editing services for the photos?
All photos are edited before delivery, retouching is done as needed, example; stray hair, unwanted people who wander into a photo, or just a touch up to makeup. Other services like, air brushing, and glamor effects, are fone on request.
Do you provide a backup of the photos?
Yes, once the files are delivered, they are put on an external SSD, and into the cloud.
Can we provide you with a shot list or do you have your own?
Yes, I do ask for a list of people you deem important, and the must have photos you would like.
Will you be taking candid photos as well as posed shots?
As an experience photographer I know where to be and what to look for, to capture those moments you as a couple will not remember, you can see many examples of these in my portfolio. Posed shots are a must have, and I use a formal style, and a candid style of posing.
Can you show us samples of your previous work or portfolio?
Yes, and I think it is important for a couple to view a photographer’s previous work to ensure that their style fits with their idea of their wedding day coverage.
What is your cancellation policy?
You can reserve your wedding day via the BOOK ME button on my website for $10, a 30% retainer is required 90 days before your wedding day to lock in your day, if you cancel 60 days before your wedding day a full refund will be issued, minus the $10. After 60 days the 30% retainer is forfeited if canceled.
When do you need final payment and what payment methods do you accept?
Final payment is required 2 week before the day of the wedding, acceptable forms of payments, are cash, or card via an invoice through Square or PayPal.
How do I use the Print Credit?
Within a few days after your wedding, you will receive an email with a link to your photo gallery, at the bottom right corner of every photo will be a shopping cart icon, once you click on the icon it will take you to the store where you can purchase prints and other items. The page will also display a code for your Print Credit that you can use at check out.
